Say Cheese! Artists’ Personal Pics And Candid Photos
The more popular the artist, the more that their lives become a ‘target’ for camera and picture selling individuals. Photographers that deal in the media know that the better the picture, the more money given for it. With telephones, hand-held devices, spy-glasses, and spy-cameras in existence more artists have found their embarrassing moments, or unusual face expressions being misinterpreted by the media and society. Artists have learned that any time they are in public, they are ‘fair game,’ for those unscrupulous photographers just wanting to make a buck.
Then there are the honest ‘fans’ that just want to take their pictures as keep-sakes or mementos of their meeting, or a concert they attended. Some concert buildings have started the practice of not allowing cameras to be present. Now, with telephone picture taking, it has become a major issue of ‘embarrassing’ moments caught on cameras.
How do the artists deal with the candid photos? Well, first of all they do not need to place themselves in questionable situations. Does this mean they can’t live freely indoors and outdoors? An artist that decides to be in a place or wear something questionable, or be with someone in today’s mega technological society may as well realize that in public, they are ‘targets.’ So, say ‘Cheese’ and have your picture taken!
